afinallullaby.drenched; the storm keeps pelting down. and i cannot utter a word, only whimpers escape my lips and though i'm drowning my throat is so parched, still. a thirst i can't seem to satisfy.
a heart fed on silent screams is ever hungry.
doubled down, cradling myself; again. seems like it will always be that way. my broken wings cover me, the bones push through me. no one notices the whimpers anyways. or how wet my blankets are.
soaked, soaked, soaked.
i thought it would all end, how wrong was i? scars will heal, but the marks will forever stay afinallullaby.

tourniquet.the phone rings and your voice floats to me like a dream, and i can't think feels as if i have nothing to say except i love you, and i miss you because in my mind they resonate and reverb like a song on repeat, echoing along to the throbbing in my heart.
you're in pain the stress is straining your voice i feel like hugging you, kissing you, to tell you its alright, that i'm here, but no, i'm too far, no, i don't know that pain that i wish i could share oh words can only say so much.
it breaks my heart, the way things are awaiting the tourniquet.
